DOM Wallet is a self-contained web application ("the App") that lets you hold, receive, and send the DOM token on the Internet Computer blockchain. It is provided by the Dawn of Machines project ("we", "us").
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or password. We do not create an account for you on any server we control. We never see, receive, or store your private keys or any recovery phrase. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell data to anyone.
You sign in through Internet Identity, a third-party authentication service on the Internet Computer, using the method you choose (for example a passkey, or a Google, Apple, or Microsoft account). Those credentials are handled entirely by Internet Identity and your chosen provider — they are never sent to us. The App only ever receives a principal: a pseudonymous on-chain identifier that is not, by itself, your real-world identity.
Transactions you make with DOM Wallet are recorded publicly and permanently on the Internet Computer. Your principal, your balances, and your transaction history are visible to anyone who inspects the blockchain. This is an inherent property of public blockchains and is outside our control. Please keep this in mind before transacting.
If you use the "Scan" feature to read a recipient's QR code, the App accesses your device camera only while scanning. The image is processed on your device to read the code. Camera images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored by us.
To keep you signed in, the App stores a session token locally on your device. Clearing your browser or app data removes it and signs you out. We do not use tracking cookies.
To function, the App connects to: Internet Identity (sign-in), the Internet Computer network (to read balances and submit transactions), a public price source to display an approximate DOM price, and a code delivery network to load software libraries. As a normal part of serving any internet request, these services may receive your IP address and standard request metadata. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your location), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
